Jonah Bayer specializes in the mental health and communication needs of musicians, bands and creative teams: a niche informed by two decades inside the industry as a working musician and journalist prior to becoming a therapist.
He is a licensed therapist in Massachusetts, utilizing ACT, DBT and EMDR interventions in his clinical work. He also consults directly with bands, managers and labels on maintaining mental health and building communication skills for touring artists.
His music journalism has appeared in Rolling Stone, Travel + Leisure, SPIN and Stereogum. Jonah is also the guitarist in the screamo act United Nations and co-host of the popular nostalgia-Based podcast "How Did We Get Weird?"
